These interactive guides help students understand the resources and options available to them if they have experienced an incident of sexual misconduct and their options for reporting and resolution at Tulane for incidents of sexual misconduct. The Study Abroad Title IX Guide provides information and resources for students who study abroad during their time at Tulane.
Resources for Student Organizations
The Title IX Office worked with several campus partners, including the Office of Student Conduct, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Programs, the Lavin-Bernick Center for Student Life, and the Office of Institutional Equity, to create several resources for student organizations. These resources include model constitution removal language, several versions of the Sexual Misconduct Resource Guide for Student Organizations, and a fact sheet for student orgs on no contact orders. Resources for Graduate and Professional Students
The guide on Sexual Misconduct Response and Reporting for Graduate and Professional Student-Employees summarizes the responsibilities student-employees have in sexual misconduct prevention and response.
The Know Your Workplace Rights resource helps students entering the workforce (internships, externships, fellowships) better understand their rights and resources under Title VII and Title IX.
Finally, the IX Essentials for Graduate and Professional Students helps students better understand Title IX as well as the resources and options for students impacted by sexual misconduct and sex discrimination.
A Tulane Parent Guide for Talking with Your Student about Sexual Violence provides information for parents about consent, sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, stalking, and the resources available at Tulane, with the goal of fostering conversations between parents and students about these topics.
The Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Guide for Faculty provides a variety of tactics and resources for faculty to support student success and care. The IX Essentials for Faculty provides a brief guide for faculty on Title IX policy, their reporting obligations, and resources at Tulane.
The Sexual Misconduct Resources for Tulane Employees guide summarizes the resources available to Tulane employees who are the victims/survivors of sexual misconduct.
