Understanding Sexual Violence

The first step in stopping sexual violence is increasing awareness and knowledge of sexual violence as a public health issue. All Tulane community members must be equipped with shared language to identify and talk about sexual violence in a way that is inclusive and survivor-centered. With heightened awareness, we can identify early signs of harmful behavior and stop violence before it happens.
